ABC's "Scoundrels" (ABC/BOB D'AMICO) PATRICK FLUEGER, VANESSA MARANO, PATRICK FLUEGER, VIRGINIA MADSEN, DAVID JAMES ELLIOTT, JOHN LAWLOR, LEVEN RAMBIN
While waiting David James Elliott to arrive on the set of the new comedy Scoundrels, the cast got plenty of bonding time, according to Virginia Madsen, who stars as Cheryl West, the voice of reason on the show that pokes fun at bad behavior.
“From the moment we all met we really meshed,” she begins. “The kids were all using it for their roles because dad was gone and we didn’t have a dad and everyone was waiting for dad.”
After Elliott showed up to take his rightful place as Wolf West, the family picture was complete and all their characters fell into place easily thanks to the actor’s charming personality.
“He’s charismatic and very, very open,” Madsen says about Elliott. “He grabbed the kids in a big bear hug and he kind of just completed the circle.”
Scoundrels airs Sundays, 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
