Now, here’s a bit of casting we can totally get behind and will make us watch Curb Your Enthusiasm for certain. Ricky Gervais (The Office/Extras) will appear next season on the comedy. But, that may not the only program Gervais will sign his name onto. Word is that HBO, who also airs Curb, is considering Gervais new live-action pilot, Life’s Too Short.

The BBC actually ordered the pilot in April and considering Gervais past association with HBO has been a boon with his series’ Extras, his comedy special and even Gervais animated series The Ricky Gervais Show, it’s smart for the channel to give it a go.

And we at HollywoodOutbreak.com cannot wait for him to return with his offbeat sense of humor as soon as possible.
