Ashley Tisdale has already begun production on the spin-off of the successful High School Musical movies. Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure will feature Tisdale as, of course, Sharpay Evans, the role she made popular in High School Musical.

The Adventure begins after a New York casting director spots Sharpay performing with her dog Boi at a local charity gala. He then offers to arrange an audition for a new Broadway musical. Off she goes to the Big Apple only to learn the audition was for Boi, but that doesn’t prevent Shapay from moving forward with her plan to conquer Broadway.

The movie, directed by Michael Lembeck (Tooth Fairy) will offer up four original songs (I’m Gonna Shine, My Boy and Me, The Rest of My Life, New York’s Best Kept Secret). Tisdale is actually co-executive producing the project, which will debut on 2011 on Disney Channel.
