Variety is reporting that former Grey’s Anatomy star, T.R. Knight will appear opposite Patrick Stewart in the Broadway production of the David Mamet play, A Life in the Theater.

The story will follow a newbie actor (Knight) who is mentored by an older, more experienced performer (Stewart).

Knight was a regular face on the stage before he hit big in Television on Grey’s Anatomy.

A Life in the Theater begins previews August 23rd. The official debut of the show is scheduled for September 23rd at the Gerard Schoenfeld Theater.
