One hopes that Josh Brolin’s summer film Jonah Hex is much better than its trailer (the movie opens June 18th), but we’re guessing the movie may be one of this summer’s biggest disappointments. Crank filmmakers Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor were initially set to direct the film, but left the project over creative differences, with Jimmy Hayward, whose only film credit is the animated film Horton Hears a Who! taking over directing duties! Online reports had Jonah Hex undergoing reshoots under the supervision of I Am Legend filmmaker Francis Lawrence. All the negative mojo surrounding Jonah Hex will not hurt Josh Brolin’s career, since he’s also in Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps and is prepping for Men In Black III. Brolin gives us his thoughts on joining Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones for this long awaited sequel. (CLICK ON THE MEDIA BAR BELOW TO HEAR JOSH BROLIN)
