
At 46, Russell Crowe admits that embarking on rigorous adventures like Robin Hood can take its toll, especially since the rock solid body he sported during his Gladiator is a distant memory. Budgeted at $200 million, Robin Hood has taken in a worldwide box office of $191 million in less than two weeks of release. Whether the film turns a sizable profit is another story, but after DVD profits come in Robin Hood should put it in the “win” column for Universal, which should ease some of the physical beating this middle-aged actor took during the film.
