Tonight is the finale of Glee and the kids are heading into the regionals as we expected. And though Patrick Gallagher, who stars as Coach Ken Tanakain on the series, wasn’t in that season ender, he’s still convinced it’ll be a showstopper.
“It should be amazing,” Gallagher says adding, “The singing and performing is at its best.”
He claims his character was too depressed over losing his girlfriend, fellow teacher Emma (Jayma Mays) to participate in the action this week, but he’s convinced the couple pairing he had with her is hardly over.
“Come on, she was his love,” he begins. “He’ll go to a smorgasbord and drown his sorrows in buffet food. We’ll see what happens. I don’t think that’s finished.”
What are his hopes for his character? Love, a winning game? All those things for sure, Gallagher tells us…as long as it’s in a decent pair of slacks.
“A pair of pants would be nice.”
The Glee season finale begins 8:59 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
