The American Idol finale was Bret Michaels’ first performance since his brain aneurysm in April of this year and wow was he on fire.

Michaels tells us that it was more than just a routine set for him. It was a renewal of spirit having survived that life-threatening hemorrhage. And Michaels was still pinging off the walls well after his performance.
