When God loses faith in humankind, he sends a group of angels to bring on the apocalypse at a small diner in Legion. Of course a battle for human survival ensues. Fun special effects and quite creepy.

Edge of Darkness was meant to be Mel Gibson’s comeback after his anti-Semitic tirade after being arrested for drunk driving in 2006. He plays a homicide cop investigating his own daughter’s death. Apparently people weren’t ready to slap down their dough for a film with Gibson in the lead yet. The film grossed only $43.3 mil. Perhaps $20 for a DVD will be more successful.

Daybreakers is a vampire flick set in the future after a plague has turned most humans into bloodsucking vampires. Needless to say the blood supply is dwindling and a researcher begins working with a cover group of vamps to save the human race.

Toy Story is the animated pic that started the relationship between Disney and Pixar. It is also one of the best in a tale where the household toys have a life of their own when the human’s aren’t watching. Tons of fun for all ages and a true classic featuring an all-star vocal cast including Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Don Rickles.

Toy Story 2 is the sequel to the 1995 animated film, but this time the pic takes aim at toy collectors after Woody is stolen. For some, Toy Story 2 was better than the original. Same great cast with Joan Cusack joining the ranks as Jessie the Yodeling Cowgirl.

Hell’s Kitchen: Season Two contains three discs featuring what appears to be the ratings of a lunatic. But, Chef Gordon Ramsay has made a career of screaming at his staff and we all apparently love to watch him take the crew to task.
My Wife and Kids Season Two stars Damon Wayans as a father just trying to have a traditional life with his wife and three kids. It, of course, is anything but that with a wife who is a day-trader and children who have minds of their own. This was a sweet and funny family comedy that lasted four seasons.
Raising the Bar: The Complete Second Season is producer Steven Bochco’s (LA Law) newest legal drama where former law students reunite in a courtroom where they represent rival clients.
