ironman2

In Iron Man 2, Robert Downey, Jr. reprises his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man. Iron Man was huge so why not go bigger for the sequel. Bigger isn’t necessarily better and Iron Man 2 puts too much emphasis on the added characters – an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink approach (think Batman sequels) as he fights crime. It makes no difference if this flick is good or bad - the competition is virtually out of its way for this weekend.

babies

Babies is the alternative choice to Iron Man 2. Here’s the thing, Babies is being marketed as a great choice for Mother’s Day. Now, if you’re the mother of a baby or babies, are you really going to want to spend time following the lives of other babies? Perhaps this is the perfect movie for people planning a family - or for someone who is already pregnant. In all fairness Babies is a feel-good flick. The movie documents the lives of four infants, from four different locations of the world (San Francisco, Namibia, Tokyo and Mongolia). They’re all cute, cuddly and huggable, which should be appealing to many.
