“I would rather eat an entire vat of Brussels Sprouts than to sit in the boardroom with The Donald.”

Is Summer Sanders a charmer or what? The Olympic athlete is all over the idea of participating in Celebrity Apprentice, but not quite as eager to take her lumps from Donald Trump after each challenge. “It was gnarly,” Sanders tells HollywoodOutbreak.com. And apparently the only thing lacking from that first meeting with Trump was a bare light bulb to agitate the celebrities participating.

“The first boardroom we felt like they had the heat on,” Sanders begins. “Not only did they have the air conditioning off, they had the heat on. We were all sweating so badly and we thought, ‘Oh my God, are they doing this on purpose?’ ”

Though they came to realize it was probably just their nerves, Sanders quickly understood that no matter what the intent, what we see on camera is in the producer’s hands. Like the big blowout last Sunday with Cyndi Lauper. It appeared as if Sanders and Holly Robinson-Peete were out for the singer’s blood. Not so says the swimmer. Sure they were rough, but no one is holding any grudges. And even though she’s project manager to both Peete and Lauper for a music related challenge this week, Sanders is convinced it’ll appear as though they’re still harping about the previous argument.

“ This episode I feel like I was a better project manager and I feel like my team - we were just clicking. It was a really good vibe,” she stresses. “And I’m sure…I’m sure they’re not going to show that. I’m sure they’ll go back to the whole Holly and Summer get Cyndi thing. But, in the end I had so much respect for Cyndi. She did such a great job on the show, but I’m sure they’ll show bits of frustration or eye rolling or something like that.”

And that’s what good TV is all about.
