It’s Complicated is another Nancy Meyers romantic-comedy surrounding mature couples dealing with relationship issues. If you like her past work (Something’s Gotta Give) you’ll probably enjoy this pic. Meryl Streep, Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin deliver pretty impressive performances and are an excellent reason to see the film.
Special Features: The Making of It’s Complicated, feature commentary with Producer/Writer/Director Nancy Meyers, Executive Producer Suzanne Farwell, Director of Photography John Toll, A.S.C. and Editor Joe Hutshing, A.C.E.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is Director Terry Gilliam’s visually stunning flick about an unusual and eclectic sideshow troupe. This was Heath Ledger’s final film before his untimely death due to an accidental overdose in 2008. Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law all assumed different versions of the role Ledger started, which helped Gilliam finish the film. Like all of the filmmaker’s work, Parnassus is an eyeful.
Special Features: Terry Gilliam’s Imaginative World, a behind-the-scenes look at the visual effects, an interview with Heath Ledger, along with wardrobe test, deleted scenes, an intro and commentary by Director Terry Gilliam, plus five additional behind-the-scenes featurettes.

Georgia O’Keeffe is Lifetime’s biopic about the famed artist starring Joan Allen in the title role. Joan Allen, who brought First Lady Pat Nixon to life in Oliver Stone’s dramatization about President Nixon, gives an equally impressive performance of the artist along with her 30-year relationship with her husband, respected photographer and art promoter, Alfred Stieglitz.
Special Features: Portrait of an artist: the making of Georgia O’Keeffe.

MegaPiranha! If you did not catch this TV flick when it aired a couple of weeks ago on SyFy, then now is your chance. This movie is so bad it’s good. What could be funnier than piranha the size of a house eating everything in sight? The answer is not much. Add to that the acting talents of Paul Logan and singer Tiffany and you’ve got an absolutely absurd mixture of camp and seriously flawed special effects. Keep up the great work SyFy, we love this stuff at HollywoodOutbreak.com.
