Katie Stevens and Andrew Garcia were sent packing on American Idol Wednesday night and, according to Simon Cowell, America nailed it. While the Idol judge is quick to point out that song choice is always a factor, he’s confident Garcia’s lack of charisma was his undoing.

Still, getting booted was not the worst thing that could happen to either one of the contestants. Katie Stevens crunched the numbers, which took the sting out of going home, while Andrew Garcia learned how to take a sock to the jaw and remain standing.

They’re both looking forward to the upcoming American Idol tour, too. Garcia can’t wait to step on the stage again…and actually get paid for it. While Stevens is still wrapping her head around the idea of actually hitting the road.

And they only have to wait a few more weeks to start rehearsals, too. The finale is looming large for May, and while the competition is stiff, Cowell is already making predictions of who will win – his money is on Crystal Bowersox.
