After taking on supporting parts in State of Play and Body of Lies, Russell Crowe takes on a rather epic role with Robin Hood, his umpteenth collaboration with director Ridley Scott. Can the two recapture their Gladiator magic and rule this summers box-office wars? The film comes out May 14th, a week after Iron Man 2, and its running time of 2 hours and 28 minutes may dissuade the average moviegoer. Whether or not it bests Iron Man 2 heres a definite given: Crowe should be a better Robin than Kevin Costner (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves) and Carey Elwes (Robin Hood: Men In Tights). And FYI, no ones going to top Errol Flynn!
