The Associated Press is reporting that Survivor producer Bruce Beresford-Redman is a suspect in his wife’s death.

Beresford-Redman reported his wife missing Tuesday in the resort city of Cancun, Mexico.

Mexican police say Monica Beresford-Redman’s body was found Thursday in a sewer at the Moon Palace resort, which is where the family was vacationing.

A witness at the resort claimed to have seen the couple arguing Sunday - and a Mexican official also told the AP the producer is being held as a suspect.

Authorities believe Beresford-Redman choked his wife to death and he reportedly had scratches on his body.
