Clash of the Titans stars Sam Worthington (Avatar) as Perseus, the mortal son of Zeus, who is on a quest to stop the underworld from spreading evil on earth and the heavens. This is a remake of the 1981 classic of the same name, but with updated special effects. The first flick’s mythological creatures were created by legendary special effect expert, Ray Harryhausen and starred a young Harry Hamlin, veteran stars Lawrence Olivier, Claire Bloom and Maggie Smith. The updated story goes big to be sure, but still features fights with Medusa and the Kraken for those fans out there who would settle for nothing less. The film also stars Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes.

The Last Song is Miley Cyrus’ newest movie without the whole Hannah Montana character. The drama centers around a young woman (Cyrus) sent to stay with her estranged father (Greg Kinnear) at his Southern beach town. They, of course, learn to reconnect.

Why Did I Get Married, Too? is another of filmmaker Tyler Perry’s character study comedies. This time four couples reunite for an annual vacation and to analyze their marriage. Things get sticky when an ex-husband arrives determined to win back his recently remarried ex-wife. The pic stars Tyler Perry, Janet Jackson, Richard T. Jones as well as veteran actors Cicely Tyson and Lou Gossett, Jr.

The Greatest stars Carey Mulligan, Pierce Brosnan and Susan Sarandon in a drama surrounding a troubled young woman and a family trying to get over the loss of a son. Yep, it’s a tearjerker.
