Although it was a box-office flop, Vanilla Sky did garner an Oscar nod for Cameron Diaz, who had excellent chemistry with co-star Tom Cruise in the flick (unfortunately Cruise’s chemistry with then girlfriend Penelope Cruz didn’t translate onscreen). 

Now Diaz and Cruise are back with Knight And Day, an action comedy directed by James Mangold (3:10 to Yuma, Walk The Line) that hits theaters July 2nd.  The trailer looks absolutely fantastic, and Cruise hasn’t looked this enervated in years!!  Plus Diaz can rebound from last year’s misfires The Box and My Sister’s Keeper.
