The second season of 10 Things I Hate About You kicks off tonight and according to series stars, Lindsay Shaw and Ethan Peck, they’ll continue growing the relationships…both good and bad.

If you’re familiar with Taming of the Shrew, you know this isn’t your typical adaptation of the William Shakespeare comedy. Shaw has taken on the character of Kate – in this case Kat – who is feisty, but not quite as venomous as the personality in the original work. Peck stars as Patrick Verona, Kat’s would be suitor, who is just as contentious as Kat.

Life has changed for the better for the actors, who are getting recognized, but not so much that they’ve had to live differently. If anything, fans encounters are just as new to them and they’re as excited as the viewers who are approaching them.

The mood on the set is upbeat now that they’re into the second season, but they admit that they are all upping their game hoping to insure another year of the show is in their future.
