Rapper/actor 50 Cent’s latest album release, Before I Self Destruct is an edgier follow-up to his 2007 effort Curtis, and it’s further proof that his hip hop career is still thriving.  As an actor, he’s best known for his title role in Get Rick or Die Tryin’, Home of the Brave, and Righteous Kills, plus he had a hilarious cameo on last season’s Entourage (he mocked Turtle’s new car while stopped at a Los Angeles intersection).  50 Cent believes the reason for his success lies in his close ties to his neighborhood.
