I need to find out the historian that you talked on the Civil War Gravesites in Georgia. My Great -Great Uncle Caleb Garner. Fought in the Battle of Gettysburg in the 4th Alabama, Infantry Regiment Company “E” in 1862. He supposedly died of his wound in 1863. I found a 1864 Census Records that said that he did not die from his wounds, but was taken prisoner at “Point Lookout Maryland” and was held there until October of 1864 and was exchanged at Venus Point, Savahnna Georgia in Oct. 1864. After the Savahnna Cemsus Record, Caleb Garner disappears. I need to find out if there are any other Confederate Cemeteries in Savahnna, Georgia, and if so what are the names of these cmeteries and where are they located. I would really like to find out “Who I am.”
