With the release of her third studio album last year (Play On), Carrie Underwood has proven that a true star can emerge out of American Idol. Underwood is the biggest success from Idol, followed by her colleagues Kelly Clarkson, Chris Daughtry, and Jennifer Hudson. And even though she’s the most recognizable female in country music these days, Underwood doesn’t let her success go to her head. I like Carrie, but I wouldn’t go as far as to call her more popular or successful than Kelly Clarkson. It’s 2 TOTALLY different worlds.

What deluded person wrote this? Taylor Swift has wiped the floor with Carrie Underwood. So has Lady Antebella (sp). Carrie Underwood has peaked in country music and is no longer the most popular country star. She’s just average. And now a days being the most successful idol contestant means nothing since most all of them have peaked.
