Earlier this week it was reported that the FOX network will not renew the action-packed, Emmy-winning show 24, which rejuvenated the career of Kiefer Sutherland and helped take a struggling network that dangled in last place into first place. Word has it that FOX is grooming its new action show Human Target to take the place of 24 next season.
According to reports, there seems to be a chance that 24 will live on to see one more day on NBC.
If the reports are true, 24 will begin its ninth season on a network that is rebuilding its own 10:00 p.m. hour thanks to the ill-fated prime-time fiasco The Jay Leno Show. With mixed reactions from fans and critics alike for the current season of the action series, will the loyal base follow the show to another network?

If Fox is contemplating canceling 24 then that would be the perfect opening for them to pick up Numb3rs from CBS. Come on Fox add Numb3rs to your roster of great shows. What a great combination Numb3rs and Bones would be.
