America’s Most Wanted is that rare television show that makes an impact on society, and the show’s host, John Walsh is an example of turning tragedy into something positive by his work on behalf of the victims and their families. Walsh’s son Adam, was murdered back in 1981.  And it wasn’t long afterward that Fox came a knocking with a new type of series for him to host.

Walsh knew from the get-go that America’ s Most Wanted would be more than something sandwiched between commercials, and he recalls just one of the many killers who was apprehended thanks to the show over 20 years ago.  America’s Most Wanted airs tonight on Fox at 9 p.m. et/pt.
