New York has been a good luck charm to Wesley Snipes, thanks to his memorable work as drug lord Nino Brown in New Jack City as well as his supporting turn in the Christopher Walken crime drama King of New York.  Now after several years of cinematic obscurity, Snipes is back on the big screen (and in the Big Apple) with Brooklyn’s Finest, director Antonine Fuqua’s (Training Day) latest foray into the cop world.  Snipes has been starring in movies financed internationally, and much of his work has gone straight to DVD.  The Blade actor explains the “new playing field” of today’s movie business.
