Director Kevin Smith’s view askew universe takes a higher profile turn with Cop Out, a movie which is a homage to such tongue in cheek buddy films like The Hard Way and Stakeout.  With Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan as the leads, Cop Out is Smith’s biggest studio film since….wait, has he actually made a big studio film??  With respect to Ben Affleck and in memory of the director’s father, Smith talks about why he shot Cop Out, which is now playing nationwide.
