NBC did a whole lot of sweet-talking to the cast of Southland just prior to the series hitting the air. However, it wasn’t even three months later that the network lowered the boom and canceled the show.

Still, Southland star, Regina King didn’t have much time to dwell on the program getting the ax. TNT picked up the remaining episodes and is broadcasting those shows on the cable net.
