The Crazies is a title that could easily apply to a comedy, but the movie is actually a horror-thriller.

The Crazies director, Breck Esiner thought the story about a town of people driven to homicidal tendencies from an infection was anything but humorous. In fact, he believes it’ll make viewers question their own love ones.
