Paramount’s move to push back Shutter Island’s release date to February 19th was an obvious disappointment to the film’s creative team. And it’ll take powerhouse work on the part of Director Martin Scorsese and his Shutter Island star, Leonardo DiCaprio to insure Academy voters remember the pic come Oscar time a year from now.The movie is actually getting great word of mouth and producer Brad Fischer is working overtime to spin Paramount’s decision into a positive.  The studio employed the same strategy last year with The Soloist, a film that quickly tanked!
