Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2009 will be presented on Sunday, March 7th, 2010, beginning at 5 p.m. PT/ 8 p.m. ET.

Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President, Tom Sherak is confident Oscar night will be eye-popping.

Sherak has seen what producers Adam Shankman and Bill Mechanic have in store and what the hosts, Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin are doing to amp up their game - and they aim to dazzle.
