We’re moving ever closer to the big screen version of 24, but there are still some hurdles to jump according to Ron Howard, whose company Imagine Entertainment produces the show.

The filmmaker believes the story has to reflect the show, but give fans a reason to want to slap down their hard earned dough for a two-hour version of what they can see for free on TV.

However, series star, Kiefer Sutherland admits they are in the planning stages of the flick and they all, including Howard, realize time is an important factor in the success of a 24 movie.
