I am just wondering why people have embraced 3d so much this time around. I like 3d but really none of the 3d is new today. Polarized linear and circular, shutter glasses, has all been around since the 1930's. It looks just as good as the 3d of the 1950's despite the argument that it is better. It may have to do with how 3d looks with how they can make the visual aspect of the movie look with all the special effects. Not to sure why.
