Kelli Giddish may not believe in every aspect of her new show Past Life, but she’s willing to give the benefit of the doubt, especially where reincarnation is concerned.
The series revolves around a center dedicated to unearthing the past lives of trouble patients struggling in the present. Still, don’t expect the drama to be too solemn. Giddish tells HollywoodOutbreak.com that there are enough skeptics written into the storylines to add the right amount of humor.
Past Life is shot on location in Atlanta, GA, which Giddish believes can double for nearly anywhere – but the tax breaks are a nice incentive, too.
What better way to get a new show noticed than by placing it in the perfect time slot. Past Life will follow American Idol on Tuesday, 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, the night Ellen Degeneres makes her debut on the reality competition. The sci-fi drama then jumps to its regular night, this Thursday, taking the place of Fringe for the season on Fox.
