In Mel Gibson’s new movie Edge of Darkness, he plays a father whose daughter has been killed. Gibson is dad to eight children of his own ranging in ages from just a few months to late 20s.

The actor admits his own children have never been in that level of harms way, but he certainly still understands the dynamics.
