On this day in 1953, WALT DISNEY PICTURES  released PETER PAN. One of the few productions of JAMES BARRIE’s story to actually feature a male in the lead (BOBBY DRISCOLL), DISNEY’S animated PETER PAN is a classic in the true sense of the word and features some of the most stunning 2-D animation ever created.  We’ve loved many theatrical and cinematic versions of this ageless story but this film still tops the list.
