For whatever reason, CBS is using one of television’s most coveted time slots to premiere the completely underwhelming reality series, UNDERCOVER BOSS. This will be the first time since 1995 the post-Super Bowl slot has gone to a new show. The “feel-good” series follows white-collar bosses as they infiltrate their blue-collar work force to see how things really go down and what improvements can be made. To be fair, it’s said that episodes tested well with some advertisers and focus groups but we found it lacking (to say the least). At the recent press conference for UNDERCOVER BOSS, executive producer STEPHEN LAMBERT told folks what they can expect from the show and gave his reaction to getting the “brass ring” of time slots.
