Billy Zane is the boss you love to hate and Tina Majorino a klutzy newby in the new legal drama The Deep End.

Zane is no stranger to playing a jerk, but he tells HollywoodOutbreak.com that his characters are just driven. Yeah, well we beg to differ, very often they are downright mean and ruthless as we’ve seen in films like Dead Calm and Titanic. But, hey, it’s worked out well for him and especially for this new series. Still, when pushed, Zane quickly admits that it is fun playing villains.

Tina Majorino began as a child star in movies like Andre and When a Man Loves a Woman, but she’s all grown up now and getting a chance to demonstrate her abilities as an adult actress in The Deep End - plus she’ll tell you the writers have given her plenty to chew on.

Both Zane and Majorino tell HollywoodOutbreak.com that the series is taking its creative lead from real life events, which they believe adds all the right elements for a successful series. We agree.
