MEL GIBSON and LEONARDO DiCAPRIO are teaming up to make an epic Viking film. GIBSON will direct as well as produce (with GRAHAM KING). According to GIBSON, this is the fruition of an age old dream and, if he gets his way, it will be performed using the old Norse language. This project will join GIBSON’S other period directing efforts, BRAVEHEART, THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST and APOCALYPTO as challenging (to say the least). At the recent press conference for his new film, EDGE OF DARKNESS, GIBSON talked about the genesis of the Viking project. Listen in below:
