Historically, discovering the new supporting cast of the hit FX series DAMAGES is as much fun as the actual plot lines. This season is no exception with the addition of MARTIN SHORT in an uncharacteristically serious turn as the attorney for a Ruth Madoff-type woman whose husband is shipped off to prison for orchestrating a massive ponzi scheme. It’s a brilliant turn for SHORT, without a whit of comedy and looks to be a shoe-in for an Emmy nomination. At the recent press event for the series, SHORT talked about the duplicitous nature of his new character. Listen in below:
