Premiering tonight on HBO is A FAMILY IS A FAMILY IS A FAMILY: A ROSIE O’DONNELL CELEBRATION. It’s being described as ”feel good” documentary focusing on the children of culturally diverse families with interview segments and musical performances. A child of the ’60s, O’DONNELL was heavily influenced by MARLO THOMAS’ Emmy Award-winning family doc FREE TO BE…YOU AND ME and, at the recent press event for her show, talked about the impact it had on her.
