On this day in 1965, M-G-M celebrated the NYC release of the WWII thriller 36 HOURS starring JAMES GARNER (terrific, as always), EVA MARIE SAINT and ROD TAYLOR. Directed and written by GEORGE SEATON from a story by ROALD DAHL, this clever, well-made mind-f#*k is still a great diversion.
