
In director MICHAEL HOFFMAN’S historical drama, THE LAST STATION, the struggle to balance wealth and a commitment to a life devoid of material things is told via the last year in the life of LEO TOLSTOY. CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER plays the Russian novelist and HELEN MIRREN the wife about to be left penniless because of his new will. It’s a brilliant little film, filled with many ideas. We recently sat down with MIRREN to talk about her role in THE LAST STATION and she was quick to point out that, ultimately, it was all just about “love and marriage.” Listen in below:
