
In the new series, LIFE UNEXPECTED, actress SHIRI APPLEBY (ROSWELL) plays a woman suddenly reunited with the daughter she gave up for adoption after a high-school, one-night-stand. And, while it’s nice to see APPLEBY back on the screen, it’s a little jarring to see her as “mom” to a teen. But series creator LIZ TIEGLAAR and director GARY FLEDER had a very specific vision of what they wanted and APPLEBY filled the bill. At the recent press conference for the show, the actress talked about approaching the role of “mom.” Listen in below:
LIFE UNEXPECTED is a little bit GILMORE GIRLS and a little bit EVERWOOD and should prove to be a crowd pleaser. It debuts tonight on THE CW.
