BIG TIME RUSH is the next big sitcom from NICKELODEON that the network is hoping will catch on with the tween/teen boy-band crowd. Centered around four Minnesota farm boys who win a talent competition and head for show-biz central to make it big, the show is more than just a little reminiscent of that ’70s chestnut THE MONKEES. At the recent press conference for the show, series creator SCOTT FELLOWS admits that he was influenced by THE MONKEYS and would love to see his new show get a bit of that success.
