Heroes come and go - and through those changes the series Heroes has managed to keep fans coming back for more.
According James Kyson Lee, who stars as Ando - one-time sidekick, now hero himself - the series is getting more and more complex - in a good way. There is a courtroom drama playing out tonight…with Ando defending Masi Oka’s character, Hiro. If you’ve been watching over the last couple of weeks you’ve no doubt seen Hiro speaking exclusively in pop-culture references. That’s left Ando scratching his head…while piecing together clues.
It would have been easy to have Lee remain a sidekick forever, but the producers and writers knew it was time for Ando to morph into someone worthy of his own story. And boy does Lee relish his new abilities. Why wouldn’t he? The transition gives him way cooler storylines.
