It seems like forever since we last saw Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland), but it’s only been around eight months between seasons of 24. Raise your hand if you’ve been jonesing for more episodes. Well, heads up! Season eight of the political thriller is back and this year has big changes in store.

For one, the setting is New York instead of L.A. - and not near as much time has past than in previous seasons. Jack’s hot-looking baby girl, Kim (Elisha Cuthbert) is back, FBI agent Renee Walker (Annie Wersching) is as knarly as Jack, plus, Bauer is now a free agent, which makes his untraditional methods even more unchecked (if that’s possible).

It’s a season Sutherland is excited about, too. He’s eager to continue the story with the same political administration.
