CNN reports:

Rosie O'Donnell -- who has been outspoken about her support of Conan O'Brien -- has canceled her January 27 appearance on "The Jay Leno Show."

Daisy reports:
Jay, you now have another viewer. I would have turned you off the second I heard that that fat cow beouch was appearing. But now that she’s not, I’ll tune in. @ Conan: If you can get Rosie " I'm a fat loud mouth beouch" O'Donnell to show up on Jay's show, his ratings will tank and yours will soar. Git R Done!

NBC messed up big time by giving Conan a specific date 5 years to give him the Tonight Show. NBC should have waited until Leno retired, then moved Conan up the ranks. NBC has made a lot of money with Leno on at 10pm but the Affiliates are down 30%. Leno's 10pm show cost NBC 70% less than producing dramas so NBC was quite happy with Leno at 10pm. On the other side of the spectrum, Conan is preforming poorly. Letterman is now getting twice as many viewers as Conan, whereas when Leno was the host, Leno had more viewers than Letterman.

At the end of the day its about business. Leno makes NBC twice as much money as Conan, so why on earth would they get rid of Leno. It was a huge risk that NBC took and now Conan and Leno have to pay for it.

Everyone is pinpointing Leno as the bad guy which could create a backlash against NBC even though Leno has done nothing wrong. He never wanted to leave in the first place, he was forced out while being #1 in the ratings. When he was pushed out there was no uproar then and there shouldnt be any now for forcing Conan out.

At the end of the day is about business. Leno gets 5mil viewers on average while Conan gets 2.8 mil.

Personally I prefer Conan. NBC is stupid - Jay Leno hasn't been funny in a long time. Comcast do you want your money back?
