So, how the heck do they eat with the warm blood supply dwindling? Enter the dominant vamps plotting their survival and a covert band working with a researcher to find a way to save humankind. Daybreakers isn’t a horror classic, but it is nice to see a movie that doesn’t make vampires into sappy romantics.

For some inexplicable reason Universal Pictures decided to green-light Leap Year, a romantic-comedy about a woman so freakin’ desperate to get hitched that she heads to Ireland to propose on leap year. Note to women with self-respect: stay home instead.
