We caught up with DAYBREAKERS star ETHAN HAWKE a few days ago to talk about the upcoming thriller and to find out what he’s been up to lately. It turns out that HAWKE spent his entire Fall filming a television miniseries based on the HERMAN MELVILLE classic, MOBY DICK. Produced by TMG, the big budget series stars WILLIAM HURT as the obsessed Capt. Ahab and HAWKE as Starbuck, the first officer of the ship and the only crew member to oppose Ahab’s search. HAWKE talked about how much he didn’t appreciate MELVILLE’S novel as a kid and how getting this role changed his mind. Listen in below:
