On this day in 1961, 20th CENTURY FOX released THE MARRIAGE-GO-ROUND. Directed by WALTER LANG from the popular play by LESLIE STEVENS, this comedy of manners was pretty racy for 1960s style (even though the play actually opened on Broadway in 1958). SUSAN HAYWARD and JAMES MASON head the cast. Newcomer JULIE NEWMAR won a Tony for originating the theatrical version and was given the opportunity to recreate it for the film.
