On this day in 1990, MIRAMAX FILMS released THE GRIFTERS. Directed by STEPHEN FREARS from a screenplay by DONALD E. WESTLAKE, this noir-ish tale of a group of interrelated con artists was a real treat with more than just a few twists and turns. The all-star cast featured ANJELICA HUSTON, JOHN CUSACK, ANNETTE BENNING and SANDY BARON. As watch-able now as it was then.
